Asian Sealand Offshore & Marine Inc. is immediately seeking experienced Welders / Fabricators to support an upcoming project involving the fabrication and welding of handrails for offshore and industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing offshore services company supporting the oil and gas sector.
The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for the cutting, fitting, welding and finishing of steel components, primarily focused on handrails and related structural items. The role requires good welding skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a workshop or site environment.
Minimum 1 year hands-on welding experience in fabrication or structural steel work.
Basic welding knowledge in processes such as SMAW (stick), MIG, or TIG.
Ability to read simple drawings and measurements.
Welding certificate or training from a recognized institute will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Ability to cut, fit, and prepare steel for welding.
Understanding of basic safety and workshop practices.
Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team.
Perform welding and fabrication of handrails and light steel structures according to drawings and specifications.
Cut, grind, fit, and assemble steel components prior to welding.
Use welding processes such as SMAW (stick), MIG, or TIG as required.
Ensure all work meets quality, strength, and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow HSE procedures at all times.
Report defects, material shortages, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
