Requirements

  • A minimum of five (5) subjects CXC including English and Mathematics

  • A Diploma/ Degree from a recognized University in Accountancy or CAT qualification or presently pursuing same.

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in the accounting field with similar role.

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrated good problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong active listening skills.

  • Proactive and team player

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

  • Keeping track of all daily expenses

  • Arranging all daily, weekly, monthly and incidental payments

  • Record all payments, work advances and purchases in the company's software

  • Ensure the company's software is balanced and all transactions are recorded correctly at the end of each day

  • Have knowledge of all transaction payments in the company's software

  • Reporting of all differences and system issues on a timely basis

  • Any other duties/ tasks assigned by Management
