The Administrative Officer will provide day-to-day operational and administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations, accurate document management, and efficient coordination of resources. This role covers clerical and logistical functions such as filing, communication, travel coordination, procurement, and record-keeping. The officer will serve as a central point of contact for administrative matters, ensuring compliance with project policies and supporting the administrative department in achieving operational excellence.
Minimum of 5 CSEC passes, including Mathematics, Principles of Business, Office Administration, and English.
At least 2 years’ experience in administrative, clerical, or office support roles.
Demonstrated experience with filing systems, office supply management, and basic procurement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience in donor-funded projects, NGOs, or sustainability-related initiatives (advantageous).
Maintain filing systems and ensure accurate documentation.
Manage stationery, office supplies, and vendor coordination.
Prepare agendas, minutes, and facilitate communication flow.
Arrange transport, accommodation, and logistics for staff/visitors.
Manage attendance, leave records, and assist with onboarding.
Draft reports and support audits, monitoring, and donor visits.
