The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding to incidents. This role requires vigilance, attention to detail, and the ability to act calmly and decisively in emergency situations.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is a plus.
Strong observation and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
Basic knowledge of security procedures and equipment.
Must be able to pass a background check and any required drug screenings.

● Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs.
● Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and law enforcement when necessary.
● Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
● Conduct security checks and inspections of buildings and grounds.
● Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
