An Inventory Clerk plays a vital role in providing excellent Inventory skills and ensuring accurate accountability, transparency & professionalism. Overall, the role of an Inventory Clerk is essential in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient operations, and minimizing financial losses due to inventory errors or mismanagement. Effective communication, attention to detail, and organization are key skills for success in this position.
Ability to work in multiple locations on a weekly basis. (Vreedenhoop, Vergenogen, Parika, Eccles)
1 - 2 Years of experience working as an inventory clerk or in a similar capacity.
High school diploma or CSEC passes in English & Math.
Strong knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets & MS Word.
Strong attention to detail for accurate stock placement and organization.
Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to lift 25 lbs at times.
Keep track of items in stock, including their quantity and location.
Enter and update inventory data accurately in a system.
Inspect items for quality, damage, or expiration dates.
Keep the inventory area neat and organized for easy access.
Generate reports on inventory levels and discrepancies.
Place orders to restock items when needed.
Collaborate with other departments for smooth inventory flow.
Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
Address inventory issues promptly and efficiently.
Maintain records of all inventory transactions.
