The Laboratory technician position is responsible for weighing and performing routine analysis in digestion and spectroscopy, data assessment, and preparation of reports, while maintaining adequate production, quality control and turnaround times
High School Education with relevant years of experience, Technical Diploma or BSc in Chemistry or a scientific discipline.
1-5 years’ experience in a laboratory setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Experience using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. - Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English. - Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to multitask. - Outstanding customer service skills are essential. - Detail orientated and ability to work very well under pressure. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
