The Sr. Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that all company motor vehicles are functional by inspecting, testing and repairing the vehicles.
Certification from a recognized institution
At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar position
Valid Driver’s License
Flexible working hours
Ability to work offsite
Ability to diagnose, repair and test Diesel Engines/ Gas Engines
Ability to effect repairs on both Heavy and Light vehicles
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Mechanic shall:
Keep Company motor vehicles available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
Maintain vehicle functional condition by reviewing driver malfunction reports; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components
Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
