Land Development Foreman

The Land Development Foreman is responsible for leading the crew to complete daily tasks related to the project scope. The incumbent will oversee, accomplish, and ensure all work quality related to each project and assume full responsibility for its standard and timeliness.


  • Certificate/Diploma in Technical Field.

  • High school diploma.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience as a Foreman in an Oil and Gas or Construction environment.

  • Knowledge of PPE and basic safety precautions.

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office.

  • High degree of alertness and attention to detail.

  • Ability to perform all tasks and responsibilities in a professional manner.

  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule and meet deadlines given.

  • Ability to effectively lead a team in completion of duties.

  • Ability to take ownership, accountability and responsibility for tasks assigned and productivity of the team.

  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instruction.

  • Able and willing to be a team player and uphold a positive attitude.

  • Multi-tasking skills.

  • Strong land development background.


  • Interpret project drawings accurately and direct workforce to execute tasks according to detailed specifications.

  • Inspect work to ensure job quality and communicate with sub-contractors.

  • Coordinate and delegate daily tasks to crew members.

  • Arranges the workforce into its working groups across the work site.

  • Documenting, recording and approving work performed, materials used, equipment operated, etc.

  • Ensuring there is a record of shift attendance.

  • Ensure all workforce follow laid down HSE procedures / regulations when on site.

  • Support the utilization of Observation card system for inspections and observations taking into the “No Blame “culture.

  • Ensure the operators check the work site being operated during the shift complies with the relevant, GYSBI / Client standards.
