Administrative Assistant


Job Location

Lilendaal, East Coast Demerara and Plantation Relief/Support East Bank Demerara


Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering all incoming phone calls, directing calls to appropriate departments, mail distribution, and provision of additional clerical support. The Administrative Assistant must be process-oriented, pay close attention to details, have a positive attitude, and maintain a polished, professional appearance. Additionally, the role will require multitasking in a variety of front-office activities.


  • At least five (5) CXC subjects, inclusive of English and Math Grades 1, 2 or 3

  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft office applications  

  • Any tertiary certification will be considered and asset


·         Reconcile Expenditure Bills

·         Respond to emails.

·         Assist with payroll.

·         Make calls for the Procurement process

·         Organize and assist in bid preparation, including compilation, photocopying, binding etc.

·         Writing non-technical business letters as directed

·         Track and follow up on invoices for payments.

·         Photocopying, printing, scanning, organizing and filing all company documents.

·         Liaise with various entities for information, as requested.  

·         Work closely with the directors and employees.
