CRUSHER OPERATOR

• Operate and monitor crushing equipment and related machinery
• Feed and monitor the crusher to maintain steady production
• Monitor conveyors, screens, feeders and crusher performance
• Ensure aggregate is processed to the required size and quality
• Identify blockages, unusual sounds, vibration or equipment problems
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, greasing and basic maintenance
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Monitor daily production and report operational issues
• Follow all company health, safety and operational procedures
• Work effectively with operators, mechanics and other mining personnel

• Previous experience operating a crusher, crushing plant, quarry, or heavy equipment is preferred.

• Experience in a mining, quarrying, construction, or industrial environment is an asset.

• Basic knowledge of crushing, screening, conveyors, feeders, and aggregate processing.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to identify equipment faults.

• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor, dusty, noisy, and rugged environments.

• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow established procedures.

• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work independently.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and in remote mining locations when required.

• Operate and monitor the crushing and screening plant safely and efficiently.

• Control the feeding of raw material into the crusher.

• Monitor crusher, screens, conveyors, feeders, and other plant equipment during operation.

• Ensure processed material meets required size and quality specifications.

• Identify and report blockages, equipment faults, unusual noises, vibration, or other operational issues.

• Perform routine pre-start and operational inspections.

• Carry out basic cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance as required.

• Assist mechanics and maintenance personnel during repairs and servicing.

• Monitor production output and minimize unnecessary downtime.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area around the crushing plant.

• Follow all company health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

• Report daily production activities, equipment issues, and safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Work closely with excavator/loader operators, mechanics, truck drivers, and other quarry personnel.
