A company operating in Guyana is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced International Tax Advisor / International Tax Lawyer to support its local and international business operations.
The successful candidate will provide specialist tax advisory support, with a focus on international tax matters, cross-border transactions, tax structuring, regulatory compliance, and tax risk management. The role requires strong legal and technical knowledge of international taxation, tax law, corporate structures, and compliance requirements.

Master of Laws — LL.M. in International Tax
Postgraduate specialization in Tax Law

Responsibilities
Provide technical advice on international tax matters affecting the company’s operations.
Advise on cross-border tax structures, tax planning, and international tax compliance.
Review and interpret applicable tax laws, treaties, regulations, and legal developments.
Support the company with tax risk assessments and compliance reviews.
Assist with corporate tax planning, transfer pricing considerations, and withholding tax matters.
Review contracts, agreements, and business arrangements from a tax and legal perspective.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, external advisors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies where required.
Support the preparation and review of tax-related documentation, reports, opinions, and submissions.
Ensure the company’s tax practices remain aligned with applicable laws, regulations, and international best practices.
Provide guidance on tax implications for business operations, transactions, and corporate decisions.
