Pump Operator

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Loader Operator.

The Pump Operator is responsible for safely operating front-end loaders and related heavy equipment to load, move, and stockpile materials. The role requires adherence to safety regulations, routine equipment inspections, and efficient handling of materials to support the site operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Valid heavy equipment operator certification or license (where required)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment.

• Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety practices.

• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, pipelines, and related equipment.

• Start, stop and regulate pumping systems according to operational requirements.

• Conduct routine inspections and performance checks of pumps and associated equipment.

• Monitor pressure, flow rates, tank levels, and other operational indicators

• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, leaks, or safety hazards.

• Perform basic maintenance tasks, including such as cleaning and minor repairs.

• Maintain accurate operational logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records.

• Assist during emergency situations and equipment shutdowns as required.

  WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Outdoor, material handling.

• Exposure to dust, noise, vibration and changing weather conditions.

• May require shift work, overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.

  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Ability to lift up to 25 kg occasionally.
