Performs a wide range of administrative tasks such as organizing, storing and processing both digital and paper information as well as maintains accurate records of stores and movement in stock for the up keeping of storeroom ledger.
Five (5) business stream CXC/CSEC subjects preferable
One (1) year experience in clerical role will be an asset
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Team player, disciplined, willingness to learn, fair communication skills
Process incoming/outgoing mail, write letters, reports and office memoranda, schedule appointments, and attend to visitors.
File paperwork and is also responsible for copying documentation.
Complete and mail bills, contracts, policies, invoices, or checks.
Receive, store, issue, and verify (count, sort, weigh) equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, and tools against requisitions or invoices.
Prepare stock requisitions, requests for quotations and purchase orders.
Perform periodic checks on physical lubricant stock against bin cards and ACCPAC balance.
Maintain records of General Stores i.e. stock cards and ISRs
Take inventory of stock in the Storeroom and updates computerised inventory of stocks and compile statistics for the Supervisor.
Maintain daily petty cash float in vault, verify PC vouchers for validity, and log entries into ACCPAC.
