Part Time Dental Assistant

Precision Dental Care is a small, privately operated and trusted Family Dentistry Practice in the Cummings Lodge. We’re currently looking to add a supportive and dedicated team member who shares our commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are excited to welcome a new member to our Dental Practice!

This is an entry level position where training for the position is given upon employment. We do not require any prior Dental Office work experience, but we do prefer applicants who are:

·       Moderately proficient in English Language and communication skills

·       Have passes in CSEC English and Mathematics (not required, nice to have)

Key Duties and Responsibilities are to:

• Prepare treatment trays and treatment room for dental procedures

• Register and welcome patients into the treatment room

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures

• Maintain a hygienic work space and environment, sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols

• Take dental X-rays

• Manage inventory and supplies

A team player with a willingness to help wherever needed is ideal.

Prior to performing the above tasks, training will given upon employment.
