Description
Stone Cutting CNC Operator will operate Aura Manufacturing Inc.’s five-axis CNC bridge cutting machine for the cutting, shaping, profiling and machining of stone products.
The machine has a working area of approximately 3200 × 2000 × 400 mm and is equipped with a 15 kW saw motor, five-axis movement, side milling capability and automatic tool setting. Machine Configurati
Requirements
CNC operating experience preferred.
* Stone fabrication experience highly desirable.
* Experience with quartz, granite, marble, porcelain or similar materials advantageous.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Good mathematical and measurement skills.
* Understanding of CNC machining principles.

Responsibilities
*Operate the five-axis CNC stone cutting machine.
* Review approved drawings and CNC programs.
* Load and position stone slabs safely.
* Verify slab type, thickness, colour and condition.
* Check slab dimensions.
* Position material correctly.
* Use machine clamping and suction systems correctly.
* Install and monitor saw blades and tooling.
* Use automatic tool-setting equipment.
* Perform straight and angled cuts.
* Perform profiling and side milling where required.
* Manufacture kitchen worktops and other stone components.
* Produce vanity tops, splashbacks and panels.
* Verify finished dimensions.
* Conduct first-piece inspections.
* Measure finished components.
* Inspect edges and surfaces.
* Monitor blade and tooling condition.
* Report worn or damaged tooling.
* Minimise stone wastage.
* Maintain machine cleanliness.
* Perform routine operator maintenance.
* Report machine faults.
* Handle stone safely.
* Maintain production records.
* Follow all health and safety procedures.
