QUALITY/ SAFETY OFFICER

JOB TITLE: QUALITY/ SAFETY OFFICER

  REPORTS TO: QUALITY/SAFETY MANAGER THRU QUALITY/SAFETY SUPERVISOR

  SUBORDINATES:  TRAINEE QUALITY / SAFETY OFFICER  

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Three (3) subjects (GCE) grades C or above, or (CXC) grades three (3) or above. English, Math’s, Physics and any other Science subjects an asset.

• Auditor training is a plus.

• S.M.S Training

• Conducting a programme of audits on the Organization’s facilities, equipment, maintenance,

• Technical Records, Library and Stores procedures, also carry out external audits on suppliers as agreed on with the Quality/Safety Manager.

• Monitoring and checking compliance of airworthiness related data and the updating of the relevant statutory logbooks.

• Preparing audit reports and following up on such reports in accordance with the agreed procedures.

• Liaise with the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority on such matters as may be designated by the Quality/Safety Manager.

• Assist with compilation of all amendments to the Maintenance Schedules and the Organization’s Maintenance Procedures Manual.

• Assist with the training of all personnel within the Quality/Safety Department and liaise with the Quality/Safety Manager to compile a relevant training schedule for those persons.

• Conduct investigation and compile a report of all unsafe conditions.

• Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time and agreed upon by the Quality/Safety Manager and Director of Maintenance/ Director of Human Relations.
