Junior Mechanic

Laparkan Trading Limited is seeking a motivated and dependable Junior Mechanic to assist with the maintenance, servicing, inspection, and repair of company vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

• Minimum of five (5) CXC subjects, preferably including Mathematics and English.

• Technical or vocational training in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.

• 1–2 years of practical experience in vehicle servicing or mechanical repairs preferred.

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance.

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.

• Valid driver's licence

• Willingness to learn and work under supervision.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team.

• Assist with routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs of trucks, vans, cars, forklifts, and other equipment.

• Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical faults and maintenance requirements.

• Assist with diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues under appropriate supervision.

• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.

• Monitor inventories of tools, spare parts, fuel, and lubricants.

• Assist with maintaining records of fuel purchases and consumption.

• Ensure tools and equipment are properly cleaned, maintained, and secured.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.

• Assist with other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
