The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing first and second-level technical support to all users across the Toroparu Project, including office and remote site personnel. The position ensures the availability, reliability, and efficient operation of end-user computing devices, network connectivity, communication systems, and business applications. This role supports daily IT operations, assists with infrastructure deployments, and contributes to maintaining a secure and productive technology environment throughout the construction and operational phases of the project.
Diploma, associate degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Administration, or related field.
Relevant industry certifications are considered an asset (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba, etc.).
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT technical support, help desk, desktop support, or elated field.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting networking equipment and connectivity issues.
Experience working in industrial, construction, mining, or remote site environments is considered an asset.

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end users.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
• Install and maintain printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet access.
• Support mobile devices, IP phones, and communication systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment.
• Assist with hardware and software deployments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets.
• Document incidents, service requests, and technical procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to the IT & Software Solutions Lead.
• Support IT infrastructure projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with company cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Provide onsite support at offices, camps, and remote project locations when required.
