Supervise Accounting Operations: Manage daily activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, billing, payroll, and reconciliations to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts in a timely manner
Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop, document, and monitor accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Audit Coordination: Assist with internal and external audits, providing schedules, documentation, and explanations as needed.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance, answering questions, and performing quality reviews of accounting entries.
Budget and Cash Flow Management: Monitor departmental budgets, analyze expenditures, and identify potential cash flow issues or financial irregularities.
Maintain positive relationships with internal departments, clients, auditors, and financial institutions, acting as a point of escalation for accounting issues.
