Sales Rep/Store Clerk

As a Store Clerk at Mitty’s Merch, the employee will assist customers, recommend and promote products, process transactions, restock merchandise, maintain attractive displays, and keep the store clean and organized. The employee must be knowledgeable about anime and pop culture and actively strive to meet the monthly sales targets established by Mitty’s Merch.

• Passes in CSEC Mathematics and English.

• Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.

• Passionate and knowledgeable about anime, manga, gaming, and pop culture.

• Familiar with social media platforms and able to assist with creating and promoting content.

• Friendly, reliable, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team.

The Employee’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Opening and preparing the store for business.

• Keeping the store clean, organized, and presentable.

• Greeting customers and assisting with products, prices, purchases, and enquiries.

• Promoting products and encouraging sales.

• Operating the cash register and accurately handling and recording transactions.

• Restocking products and maintaining attractive displays.

• Assisting with inventory checks and reporting low, missing, or damaged stock.

• Protecting company merchandise and property.

• Packaging purchases and assisting with promotional activities.

• Following reasonable instructions and performing other store-related duties as required.
