ICT Technician

Are you a skilled, dependable technician with hands-on technical know-how and an uncompromising commitment to field safety? ITSS is seeking a dedicated ICT Technician to handle critical field installations, network infrastructure servicing, and customer-site deployments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Driving & Equipment: Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be able to operate company vehicles responsibly.

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, position, and climb an extension ladder (approx. 28 ft high and 80 lbs). Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces (crawlspaces and attics by crawling, bending, reaching, and twisting).

• Technical Acumen: Keen visual acuity to distinguish wire and cable colors. Working knowledge of computerized operations, CAD systems, and Microsoft Visio is strongly valued.

• Professional Standards: Clear, neat, and legible handwriting for reports; solid verbal and written communication skills.

• Work Ethic: Strong attendance record, high attention to detail, sound decision-making, and the flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete a top-tier, compliant, and reliable installation on every single assignment.

• Safely operate specialized testing equipment, including signal level meters, ohm meters, and optical/RF power meters.

• Interpret precision technical plans, engineering blueprints, construction drawings, and wiring schematics accurately in the field.

• Adhere strictly to company, industrial, and regulatory safety standards, actively identifying and reporting workplace hazards.

• Interface professionally with clients on engineering queries while maintaining direct communication with the Outside Plant Supervisor.

• Perform physical field work safely using hand and power tools across varied environments.

• Complete all daily work orders, compliance checklists, and job reporting documentation accurately and legibly.
