Welder

The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, repairing, and maintaining metal structures, equipment, and components using various welding techniques and tools. The role requires adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and accurately.

• Complementary certifications in welding

• 3 years of experience in cutting and welding

• Electromechanical fault analysis method

• Knowledge of materials

• Diesel mechanics

• Hydraulic and pneumatic mechanics

• Perform daily welding activities on arc electrical equipment, using work method and product quality, which are assigned by the supervisor in charge, this in order to comply with general maintenance activities and maintain the operability of production equipment. 

• Carry out assemblies and installations of metal structures according to the needs, guaranteeing the set-up of the equipment and locations required by the requesting areas. Making adequate and rational use of the resources (inputs, equipment, tools) destined for this work.

• Comply daily with standardized Safe Work Procedures (PETS) and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards.

• Apply the techniques of cutting materials by means of oxyfuel equipment, using work method and product quality in order to maintain the operability of the equipment and metal infrastructures that are used in the company's production processes.

• Document and record daily the activities carried out within the established work shift, complementing the information of the CMMS system, this in order to manage the control of the company's assets.

• Daily execution of maintenance activities in relation to prefabrication (cutting, grating, pre-assembly of the elements to be welded) for the welding technician and in conjunction with other areas perform welding process activities and / or cutting of materials.

• Ensure the care and maintenance of the tools and equipment assigned to carry out daily activities while ensuring the order and cleanliness of the locations where work is carried out or are assigned within their functions.
