10+ years ina similar role offshore
HVAC License
Works on refrigeration systems with all the common types of refrigerants - R-22, R-404/7, R134a and several others.
Familiar with HVAC DDC interfaces
Evacuate refrigerant gases and recharge systems. Recover / reclaim / recharge
Experience with chillers on the gas side
Leak testing and halocarbon leak detection
Nitrogen purging and vacuum systems
Replace HVAC compressors, condensers, fans, evaporators , expansion valves, filter dryer, and Refrigerant lines (brazing)
Mention of Halocarbons Knowledge and regulations
Air flow balancing and static pressure testing
HVAC Technicians are trained to do electrical work on 600vac and under. Should be mention of replacing electrical components like capacitors, Relays, Transformers, contractors, and many other electrical components
Working on Halocarbon gas systems is regulated in almost every country around the world and usually required a HVAC license or some other specific certification.
