Community Relations Manager

The Community Relations Manager is responsible for leading Aris Mining Guyana's community engagement and social performance activities for the Toroparu Project. The role develops and maintains trusted relationships with local and Indigenous communities, supports project permitting and development, implements sustainable community investment programs and contributes to maintaining the Company's social licence to operate. The position is predominantly project-area based with regular travel between Georgetown and the Toroparu site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Anthropology, Sociology, Environmental Management, Public Administration, Communications or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years' experience in community relations for mining, energy or major infrastructure projects.

• Working in remote operational environments and engaging Indigenous and rural communities.

• Regular travel throughout Guyana with extensive time in the Toroparu project area. Travel by road, boat and aircraft to remote communities will be required together with occasional evening and weekend community meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Community Relations Strategy aligned with the Company's ESG objectives.

• Lead consultation and engagement activities with project-affected and Indigenous communities.

• Apply the principles of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), where applicable, and support compliance with IFC Performance Standards and international good practice.

• Develop and implement sustainable community investment, education, livelihood and capacity-building initiatives.

• Manage the Company's community grievance mechanism and ensure timely investigation and resolution of concerns.

• Support Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), permitting activities and implementation of social commitments.

• Coordinate closely with Government Relations, Legal, Environment, Security, Human Resources and Project teams.

• Support local employment, training and community procurement initiatives in collaboration with Human Resources and Supply Chain.

• Identify emerging social risks and develop mitigation strategies before they impact project delivery.

• Prepare annual operating plans, budgets, stakeholder engagement plans, risk assessments and management reports.
