Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Live-in Hotel Manager at The Regency Suites Hotel. The Manager will reside at the hotel and oversee all aspects of operations to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or similar role

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a hands-on management style.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Overall Management: Assume overall responsibility for the hotel's daily operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration.

  • Guest Relations: Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff members. Foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.

  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and maximize revenue opportunities. Prepare financial reports and forecasts for the owner(s) or board of directors.

  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Maintenance and Upkeep: Oversee maintenance activities to ensure the hotel facilities are well-maintained, safe, and attractive.

  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Implement emergency procedures as necessary.

Community Relations: Represent the hotel within the local community and maintain positive relationships with neighbors and local authorities.
