In the role of Business Developer Executive, you will be responsible for helping the organization obtain brand recognition & financial growth, through networking and preparation of tenders. Finding new clients for the business, designing proposals for new products and services and maintaining existing client relationships.
Support the Business in the marketing and sales function in Guyana. In particular this includes identification of project targets at budget stage, liaison with the relevant Business Unit management, relationship establishment, pre-qualifications, market intelligence, pricing and budgeting knowledge, local network support, overseeing bidding activity, bid submission, pricing and market intelligence feedback and winning and closing of orders.
Developing a comprehensive knowledge of the market to formulate marketing and sales policies and objectives for the company, for the approval of the Country Director. Develop contacts and an information service in the contracting field with the objective of expanding the company's operations.
BSc. in Business/Marketing

Strategies, Planning, Marketing and Sales
1. Develop business unit marketing plan in line with regional/ country/area guidelines.
2. Assessment of markets as defined by clients, sectors, locations and services.
3. Assist where required with regards to alliances and collaborations.
4. Assist ad-hoc surveys and research when required.
5. Lead the preparation of the sales budget for the country/area incorporating all identification of targets in all business units for approval with Country Director/Manager.
Advertising and Promotion
1. Advertising proposals – frequency, media and adverts.
2. Identify Business Unit requirements.
3. Identify entertainment requirements and opportunities and ensure attendance with the Business Unit clients.
4. Identify opportunities for public relations.
5. Promote branding initiatives and assist where required.
Project Specific
1. Compilation of the business unit project KMMIS pro forma including maintenance of currency of information.
2. Development of project strategies for project opportunities. To be responsible for achieving AAA status for project development and include recommendations for alliances/collaboration.
3. Prepare and submit proposal information to ensure successful pre- qualification.
4. Development of presentations and other sales literature for business unit projects.
5. Meet clients and discuss project and compile or issue visit report and update the KMMIS where relevant.
6. Assist and support where required on proposals.
7. Update KMMIS for all awards to create a history.
Reports
1. Provide information at the Business Development monthly meetings.
2. Responsible for maintaining business unit probable’s and sales overview for 1 and 2 years.
3. Identify CTA’s and ensure approval is received.
4. Receive tender schedule proposals from the proposals division.
5. Obtain customer feedback.
6. Provide and maintain information systems and facilities to ensure up-to-date and reliable information about current and anticipated economic conditions pertinent to the company's operations.
7. Maintain close consultation with the Country Director/Manager in relation to the range and quality of services being marketed by the company and in regard to possible future additions and changes to this range.
8. In conjunction with the Regional Development Director, Regional Business Development Manager and Country Director/Manager, agree on combined sales programme based on an approved budget.
9. Ensure that suitable records are maintained to provide continuous data about the progress of the company's sales programmers.
10. Maintain close liaison with clients on successful and unsuccessful quotes and report on these.
11. Utilize to the full whatever advertising is allowed by the client on site.
12. Ensure that accurate and up-to-date information is available on the scale of activities and operations of the company's main competitors.
13. Maintain constant attention to policy and customers reactions to the company’s service
14. Submit to the Country Director/Manager regular timing of turnover reports on current
15. conditions and evaluate the progress of sales in relation to targets and objectives.
16. Maintain constant supervision of sales, advertising and promotional expenditure and its customers.
17. Establish and maintain good working relations between the company and its customers.

22. Assists and advises the Country/Area in the formulation of the company's policy on marketing – sales and in compliance with the IMS.
