A NDE Technician performs nondestructive testing of materials, parts, components, and/or pressurized systems; interprets data from tests, maintains equipment; and generates reports.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Leadership experience and formal training hours.
Level I and Level II Certifications in NDE.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
Capable of working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Able to stand for extended periods.
Competencies:
Mechanical aptitude with excellent communication skills.
Dependable with strong work ethic, leadership, and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform non-destructive testing on materials, parts, components, and pressurized systems.
Interpret test data, maintain equipment, and generate detailed NDE reports.
Conduct inspections using various NDT methods and report results.
Provide support to Level III and instruct/supervise trainees.
Maintain accurate work records and liaise with clients.
