Description

The main responsibility of the Business Development Officer is to drive revenue generation and achieve sales targets for the company's services. The successful candidate will be in charge of developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the team's performance aligns with the company's overall sales objectives. In addition, they will play a crucial role in analyzing market trends, providing insights to the management, and continuously improving the sales process to maximize profitability and growth.d growth.

Requirements

  1. A bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is often required.

  2. At least 5 years of experience in sales or account management.

  3. A strong customer-centric approach is vital in understanding and addressing corporate clients' unique needs and challenges, fostering loyalty, and driving customer satisfaction and retention.

  4. The ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and client performance is valuable for making data-driven decisions, identifying growth opportunities, and improving overall account performance.

  5. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop presentations, proposals, etc.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop strategic plans to increase market share and identify new business opportunities.

  2. Analyze market trends, competition, and technological developments to drive the company forward.

  3. Collect, analyze, and report relevant market and customer information.

  4. Translate technical capabilities into business opportunities and value propositions.

  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.

  6. Identify collaboration opportunities and build strategic alliances.

  7. Lead the acquisition process from start to finish, including proposal development and contract negotiation.

  8. Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.

  9. Translate technical specifications into understandable value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.

  10. Act as a bridge between technical teams and customers to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

  11. Collaborate with internal departments including marketing, product development, and operations, to achieve common goals.

  12. Clearly and effectively communicate business objectives and progress to the leadership team.
