Cashiers & Counter Attendants

We are seeking energetic, customer-focused Cashiers and Counter Attendants to join our fast-paced food service operation. This role involves serving customers from a glass display case featuring pastries and prepared foods, taking accurate orders, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience from start to finish.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or counter service is an asset

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail

• Valid food handling certificate

• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a fast-paced setting

• Strong hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety awareness

• Team player with a positive attitude and good time management skills

• Greet customers warmly and assist with selecting items from the glass display case

• Accurately take orders and process payments efficiently

• Prepare, package, and present pastries and food items for takeout

• Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of the glass display, counter, and cashier areas

• Monitor product presentation and report low stock or display issues

• Handle customer concerns professionally and promptly

• Maintain accurate sales records and assist with cash balancing

• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members

• Multitask efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
