The Accounts Clerk supports day-to-day financial operations for gas station and mini mart locations. This role focuses on accurate reconciliations, timely postings, and consistent updates to accounting software, helping ensure strong financial controls and reliable reporting across all sites.

1. Reconciliations
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations including:
Cash, card, and POS settlements
Fuel sales and pump readings
Mini mart sales vs system reports
Identify discrepancies and report variances promptly for investigation
Assist with stock and inventory reconciliations where required
2. Accounting Postings
Post daily sales, expenses, supplier invoices, and journals accurately
Maintain proper filing and documentation for all financial transactions
Support payroll, petty cash, and expense tracking entries
Ensure postings align with approved reports and source documents
3. Accounting Software & System Updates
Enter and update data in accounting and POS-related systems
Maintain accurate ledgers, charts of accounts, and transaction records
Assist with system clean-ups, corrections, and data validation
Support software updates, report generation, and internal audits
4. Administrative & Support Duties
Coordinate with site managers, supervisors, and operations teams for data collection
Prepare basic financial summaries and schedules when requested
Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls at all times
