Description

The Payroll Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll process for the

company’s security personnel and administrative staff. This includes accurate calculation

of wages, overtime, deductions, allowances, statutory contributions, and ensuring timely

payments in compliance with local labour laws and company policies.

Requirements

  • Diploma/CAT or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration. Currently

  • pursuing ACCA Level 2 will be a plus.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of payroll experience (experience in a security services company

  • or similar shift-based organization is an asset).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar).

  • Strong knowledge of local labour laws, NIS, PAYE, and other statutory deductions.

  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

·         Prepare and process the monthly payroll for all employees, including security guards, supervisors, and office staff.

·         Verify attendance records, duty rosters, and timesheets for accuracy before payroll processing.

·         Calculate overtime, allowances, deductions (e.g., NIS, PAYE, ETC.), and other pay components.

·         Maintain and update employee payroll records and databases.

·         Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlines for PAYE, NIS, GTM and Term Finance.

·         Prepare payroll reports for management review and financial audits.

·         Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and payslips.

·         Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data entry and contract updates.

·         Support the Finance Department with budgeting, cost control, and payroll reconciliations.

·         Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and employee records.

·         Periodic site checks at all of EPS locations. (To be decided by management)

·         Any other duties assigned by Management.
