Description

Demerara Diary Inc. (DDI), a subsidiary of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons to fill the position of Bus Driver.

 

Requirements

  • Valid Bus Driver’s License (appropriate category for passenger and goods transport)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in professional driving

  • Strong time management and communication skills

  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

  • Ability to work flexible hours (weekdays and weekends) and handle multiple tasks

 This position is based at our operations in Moblissa, Linden-Soesdyke Highway, and therefore meals and accommodation can be provided if needed

Responsibilities

  • Transport staff to and from work locations (daily)

  • Safely deliver supplies, equipment, and other goods

  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the assigned vehicle

  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any issues

  • Assist with loading and unloading items as needed

  • Maintain accurate transport logs and delivery records

  • Compile with company safety protocols
