Process and Finish Technician

As Accessory Division Process and Finish Personnel, you bring value to GKB by being responsible for all product end-finish requirements after manufacturing.

High School or Trade School Graduate

Responsible for blowing out all products and ensuring clean I.D.’s

Introduction to job travelers

Set up and operate the GKB bucking unit

Notify OSP or Sales of any discrepancies with couplings being damaged, rusted, or bent

Complete bucking, Drifting, Abrasive blasting, phosphate (zinc & manganese) coating, and electroplating on products per required specifications

Perform painting and paint stenciling on parts and apply preservatives on tubing per the required specification

Responsible for applying the proper thread protectors

Maintain a clean work environment

Communicate with Sales on job status

Attend required meetings and training classes

Follow the requirements of GKB’s safety program

Other duties as assigned
