Unicomer Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Credit Manager to lead the management of our accounts receivable portfolio in Guyana. This role is critical in balancing revenue growth with effective risk management by driving policies and strategies that minimize bad debt costs while supporting business objectives.
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in credit management within a large consumer financing environment.
Tertiary-level education, preferably a First Degree in Business Administration.
Proven record of accomplishment in credit granting and debt collections.
Proficiency in computing, internet, and office applications (e.g., spreadsheets).
Exposure to credit granting systems is an asset.
Strong teamwork, collaboration, and customer service orientation.
Manage the Company’s accounts receivable portfolio and oversee associated collections risks.
Implement credit policies and strategies to maximize revenue and minimize bad debt.
Oversee credit granting processes, ensuring sound risk assessment and decision-making.
Lead and support debt collection activities in line with Company standards.
Monitor performance, analyze trends, and report on credit and collections.
Collaborate with internal teams to support sales while maintaining credit discipline.
Deliver exceptional customer service while managing credit risk effectively.
