Security Day Checker

Praetorian Executive Protection Services Inc. is seeking a dependable, disciplined, and proactive Security Day Checker to support field security operations across multiple client locations

This role is structured with a flexible arrangement where checks are conducted at various locations throughout the assigned shift period rather than remaining stationed at a single site continuously. The position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to effectively manage their time and movement between locations.

The Day Shift operates from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., during which intermittent checks are required at designated client locations. Candidates with their own reliable means of transportation are strongly preferred, as the role requires regular movement between sites.

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent qualification.

• Previous experience in security operations, law enforcement, military, or supervisory security roles is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of static guard operations and security procedures.

• Excellent observation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Physically fit and capable of extensive travel and patrol duties during shifts.

• Basic computer literacy and report-writing ability.

• Valid driver’s licence would be considered an asset.

• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts.

• Conduct frequent, unannounced inspections of assigned security posts during shifts.

• Verify that security personnel are present, alert, properly uniformed, and performing duties in accordance with post orders and company procedures.

• Assess operational readiness of security personnel and equipment, including radios, CCTV systems, alarm systems, access control points, and other security infrastructure.

• Identify and promptly report security breaches, unusual activities, policy violations, and operational deficiencies to management.
