Description

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and well-organized Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-desk experience. This role is responsible for managing reception duties, supporting day-to-day administrative tasks, and maintaining a well-organized and presentable reception area

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; MUST have Math and English, Grades 1-3.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer literacy (email, scheduling systems, Microsoft Office or similar)
1–2 years experience in a receptionist or front desk/customer service role
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times

Assist clients and visitors with directions around the office/business

Answer, screen, and route telephone calls professionally and efficiently

Sort and distribute incoming mail to relevant departments and coordinate outgoing mail collections when necessary

Schedule and manage appointments as required

Book in visitors according to company procedures

Issue visitor badges and ensure proper visitor sign-in procedures are followed

Ensure reception equipment (phone systems, laptop, etc.) is functional; report any issues to relevant personnel and copy HR and the Sales Manager where appropriate
