Operations Executive

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Executive to oversee workshop operations within a welding and fabrication environment serving the oil & gas industry. The role requires strong operational control, local sourcing expertise, and strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. The successful candidate will ensure efficient execution of projects while managing workforce performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in project management or Operations Management, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of local vendor and supplier sourcing for construction materials

• Familiarity with welding and fabrication standards.

• Sound understanding of HSE regulations in industrial environments.

• Proven experience managing workshop teams and operations.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Report directly to the Workshop Manager on operational performance, challenges, and improvements.

• Oversee and manage day-to-day workshop operations including welding, fabrication, and equipment utilization.

• Assist with in-country vendor sourcing for materials, tools, and services related to fabrication and maintenance.

• Assist in identify, evaluate, and manage local suppliers, ensuring compliance with oil and gas quality standards

• Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements for the operations

• Supervise workshop personnel, including welders, fabricators, and support staff.

• Coordinate maintenance and availability of workshop machinery and tools

• Maintain accurate records of operations, sourcing, safety compliance, and workforce performance

• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and safety practices
