The Marketing Director (Guyana) is responsible for curation and supporting the execution of comprehensive campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and retention. This role requires a strong understanding of omni channel marketing, as well as a commitment to optimizing the customer journey across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate will be strategic, data-driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional campaigns and customer experiences that differentiate the brand and build lasting loyalty.
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
•Eight 8+ years in marketing, campaign management, or customer experience roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Essentials Duties:
Strategic Leadership
· Develop and oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy for the Guyana market.
· Align marketing activities with corporate strategy and market demands.
· Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Brand Management
· Ensure the consistent application of the One Communications brand across all touchpoints.
· Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
· Safeguard brand equity while adapting communications to local market dynamics.
Marketing Campaigns & Execution
· Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and experiential channels.
· Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Digital) to ensure alignment with commercial and operational goals.
· Oversee the execution of events, sponsorships, and community engagement activities.
Corporate Communications Support & Media Relations
· Partner with the Corporate Communications team to support external communications objectives.
· Provide oversight into media engagement initiatives, including managing media relationships, supporting PR efforts, and participating in media briefings.
· Support crisis communications and reputation management in collaboration with the Corporate Communications team.
Customer Experience Strategy
· Design and oversee a seamless customer journey across all touchpoints, including digital, in-store, and customer service.
· Conduct localized market research and customer feedback analysis to identify and address customer pain points.
· Lead initiatives to personalize and enhance customer experience, leveraging insights and data to increase engagement and loyalty.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as a key liaison with external agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
• Represent the marketing function at executive meetings and contribute to business planning.
Budget & Financial Management
· Manage the marketing budget for the Guyana market.
· Ensure efficient allocation of resources and tracking of spending.
· Report on marketing ROI and performance metrics.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
· Establish and track KPIs and performance metrics for all marketing campaigns and customer experience initiatives.
· Analyze data to generate insights, optimize marketing effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
Team Leadership
· Manage and mentor the Guyana-based marketing team, including Marketing Managers, PR & Content Managers.
· Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and development plans for direct reports.
· Foster a high-performance culture and collaboration across the organization.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Supervisory Responsibility
Directly Supervises: Marketing Managers Guyana, PR & Content managers and overall oversight for marketing in Guyana.
Environment and Physical Activity
The incumbent is in a non-confined office type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The position requires occasional travel to business offices/units and to Parent Company/Subsidiaries. Most travel is by car, but more distant locations are reached by air.

Interactions also occur with financial institutions and service providers on matters relating to the Company’s operations and strategic initiatives. The incumbent may also interact with the shareholder’s auditors, regulators, and the Company’s legal, tax and accounting advisors from time to time.
