Description

The Human Resource Officer is responsible for managing and supporting the full range of human resource functions within the organization. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The HR Officer serves as a key link between management and employees, helping to promote a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  2. Minimum 2–4 years of experience in an HR role (construction or industrial experience is an asset).

  3. Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and documentation standards.

  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

  5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR information systems.

  7. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

  • Administer employee benefits, attendance, leave, and payroll-related documentation.

  • Handle employee relations issues including grievances, disciplinary matters, and counseling.

  • Prepare and issue HR-related documents such as employment contracts, warning letters, and termination notices.

  • Support management in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate and track employee performance evaluations and training programs.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies.

  • Promote positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Prepare regular HR reports and updates for management.
