The Accounts Associate is responsible for assisting with the company’s day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record keeping, timely processing of transactions, and proper maintenance of accounting documents and reports.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
At least 1–2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role (experience in logistics/shipping would be an asset)
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines.
Assist with daily accounting operations including invoicing, receivables, and payables
Prepare and issue customer invoices for air and ocean freight shipments
Reconcile daily transactions for the company’s various locations
Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
Process payments, receipts, and maintain accurate financial records
Update and track expenses in QuickBooks on a daily basis
Prepare and submit statutory payments including NIS and PAYE
Maintain proper filing of financial and accounting documents
Support monthly financial reporting and audits
Liaise with operations and customer service teams to resolve billing queries
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
