Description

As a Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food, services, and operations meet the company’s standards for quality and safety. You will work closely with restaurant management and staff to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring food preparation, customer service, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

  • Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe).

  • Previous experience in quality control, food safety, or restaurant management.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a fast food or restaurant environment, preferably in a supervisory or quality control role.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety standards and health regulations.

  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot areas for improvement and ensure high standards are consistently maintained.

  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Control: Monitor food preparation, storage, and service to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size.

  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all employees are following food safety standards and local health regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

  • Training & Development: Assist in training new staff on quality standards, food safety, and customer service expectations.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Oversee customer feedback and address any concerns or complaints regarding food quality or service.

  • Audit and Inspection: Regularly perform quality checks on equipment, ingredients, and work areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.

  • Inventory Management: Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and supplies. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely restocking and manage waste reduction.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may affect food quality or service.

  • Report Creation: Prepare regular reports on quality-related metrics and work with management to make improvements.
