Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to oversee the financial operations of seven diverse companies operating in multiple sectors, including maritime management for the petroleum sector, catering and camp services for oil bases, large-scale construction, renewable energy (photovoltaic and hydrogen), and waste collection and management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in financial management, AI-driven automation, and sector-specific financial modeling to drive efficiency and profitability. 

• Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, and or ACCA Certified

• Experience: 5 - 10 years managing financial operations across multiple industries, particularly in oil & gas, renewable energy, and construction. 

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and [Spanish - Preferred but not required], with strong international business communication skills. 

• Technological Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, AI-driven financial tools, ERP systems, and blockchain technology. 

• Leadership & Negotiation: Strong strategic leadership and negotiation skills with global financial institutions, insurers, suppliers, and stakeholders. 

1. Advanced Financial Management Across Multiple Industries 

• Oversee cash flow management, financing, and profitability for diverse business operations. 

• Optimize sector-specific costs, including CAPEX and OPEX for high-investment assets (oil tankers, solar plants, construction projects). 

• Develop financial models tailored to each industry, incorporating ROI analysis and margin optimization. 

• Structure large-scale projects with a focus on project finance, structured financing, and strategic investment planning. 

2. Technology and AI-Driven Financial Operations 

• Implement AI-based systems for real-time accounting, financial monitoring, and expense control. 

• Integrate financial technology solutions, including IoT, blockchain, and smart contracts for optimized payment management. 

• Utilize predictive analytics for investment risk assessment and cost fluctuation forecasts. 

• Deploy big data analytics to enhance real-time financial decision-making. 

3. Sector-Specific Financial Expertise 

A. Maritime Management for the Petroleum Sector 

• Manage financial operations for fleet costs, ship depreciation, maritime insurance, and fuel trading contracts. 

• Optimize freight rates, tax structures, and logistical financial performance using AI and blockchain. 

B. Catering and Camp Services for Oil & Gas Industry 

• Maintain strict financial control over food supply costs, inventory management, and waste reduction. 

• Implement AI-enhanced inventory tracking to reduce waste and improve margins. 

• Administer financial contracts with oil companies, including turnkey and continuous supply agreements. 

C. Large-Scale Construction 

• Design and oversee financing structures for infrastructure projects (hospitals, roads, bridges, refineries). 

• Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Primavera, CostX) to optimize costs and improve profitability. 

• Implement cash flow strategies to enhance payment cycles for long-term projects. 

D. Renewable Energy (Photovoltaic & Hydrogen) 

• Develop financial models for renewable energy ventures, managing PPAs and government incentives. 

• Structure green bonds and financing solutions for sustainable energy projects. 

E. Waste Collection & Environmental Management 

• Implement financial models to monetize waste management through circular economy practices. 

• Develop carbon credit strategies for monetization in international markets. 

• Optimize route logistics using AI to reduce collection costs and improve efficiency. 

4. Financial Strategy & Business Integration 

• Lead the development of a Smart Financial Department utilizing AI and automation. 

• Establish and monitor KPIs for each business unit, focusing on profitability, ROI, and cost efficiency. 

• Continuously evaluate investment and financing strategies to ensure business sustainability. 

• Foster collaboration between finance, operations, technology, and commercial teams to enhance financial decision-making.
