A Security Officer will be responsible for protecting personnel and property by patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to security incidents.
Must have Primary School Education.
Military/PARA-Military Security Experience is an Asset.
Police Clearance
Protect and watch over company assets and spaces.
Watch security cameras to detect any form of suspicious activity within the environment.
Set an alarm to provide an alert in case there is any form of disturbance or emergency within the environment.
Secure spaces and ensure the safety of those within the company environment.
Control and supervise the entrance of both individuals and vehicles in the office area.
Capture and detain offenders in case further investigation is required.
Warn people of the consequences of breaking certain rules, like loitering and trespassing.
Maintain written logs.
Assist both employees and company customers in a friendly and polite manner.
Carry out investigations and prepare reports on incidents or any form of suspicious activity that takes/took place.
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish the presence.
Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
