As a Bodywork Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring the bodywork of vehicles to their original condition. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' satisfaction by delivering high-quality body repair services.
Minimum of a Level 1 certificate from GTI or any other recognized vocational institution with at least 1 year of experience in automotive repairs and maintenance.
Ability to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies quickly.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of body damage and determine necessary repairs
Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
Prep and sand surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth finish
Apply paint and other coatings to vehicles, matching the original color and texture
Use various tools and equipment to repair and shape body panels
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling hazardous materials and operating equipment
Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively with supervisors
Keep work areas clean, organized, and maintain equipment in good working condition
Ensure timely completion of bodywork projects and meet repair deadlines
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally
