Description

Look after and maintain machinery and equipment which produce water or steam for heat.

Requirements

Craft Certificate in Mechanical Engineering/Refrigeration

Or

Sound Secondary Education

Three (3) years’ related work experience

Responsibilities

  • Monitor plant equipment, control boards and other equipment according to standard operation procedures

  • Operate the steam plant system as required

  • Observe operation of boilers and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions and undertake minor repairs

  • Check that the stipulated amount of Chlorine is injected into both wells

  • Test and analyze water to certify that is has the recommended Chlorine Parts Per Million.
