High school diploma or similar.
A minimum of 3 years experience as a driver.
Familiarity with basic OSHA safety standards.
Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
The safe operation of Lifting, hoisting and winching equipment to lift and pull loads.
Verify and ensure safety on the work floor at all time.
Adequate communicate with the banksman, verify and ensure safety in the total operations.
Reposition Lifting, hoisting and winching equipment.
Load and unload materials using equipment and machines.
Assess and Select loads according to their shape, weight and size.
Operate compressed air, diesel, electric or gasoline hoists or winches.
Attach or disconnect rigging attributes to and off from loads.
Inspect and report Lifting, Hoisting and winching equipment.
Ensure adequate repair, maintenance, and adjustment of equipment.
Pre-plan and Assess environmental condition prior to the commencement of the job.
Operate various heavy equipment types.
Attach or disconnect rigging attributes to and off from the equipment.
Inspect and report all issues on the equipment.
