Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for performance analysis, budgeting and cost control, with a focus on large scale projects. The Financial Analyst will provide strategic financial insights to support decision making, improve profitability and ensure accurate reporting across different business units.

Requirements

Applicants Must:

- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

-   Have a minimum 10+ years of previous cost accounting, financial planning and analysis experience.

-   Have advanced MS Excel skills and MS Office experience.

-   Have significant experience delivering Project Cost controlling activities.

-   Have experience in a similar role, providing financial analysis/support at project level.

-   Have strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

-   Be results oriented with a strong compliance mindset.

- Have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

Principle Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain and refine financial models to project future performance, perform cost-benefits analyses to compare operating programs, review financial requests.

- Participate in annual budgeting process. Monitor and analyze budget vs. actual performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements, with support of accounting teams.

- Manage and monitor financial aspects of key projects, including cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, and revenue-cost analysis.

- Perform detailed variance analyses, investigating deviations from budget and providing recommendations for corrective action.

- Produce detailed monthly financial reports, reconciling accounts and ensuring financial accuracy.

- Analyze contract cost models, support CAPEX projects, and ensure compliance with contractual rates and budgets.

- Work closely with business units to provide them with performance visibility and ad-hoc financial analyses as background for business decisions.
