Operates different types of radiological equipment including MRI, X-ray, CT Scan etc. to produce good quality
films.
Ensures equipment is in good operational condition before using it to examine patients.
Interpret the doctor’s request for radiological examinations and perform radiological procedures per established
procedures.
Assist radiologist in certain special x-ray examinations requiring the use of fluoroscopy and introduction of
contrast media and drugs.
Recognize the patient’s reaction to contrast media and assist in first aid treatment.
Ensure that all reports (histopathology and other critical finding reports) are communicated to the patient
promptly so that treatment if needed is not delayed.
Keep all patient records/reports confidential
Maintain stocks and ensure orders are placed on time.
