Description

The Marketing Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies to promote our products and services, enhance brand awareness, and support the overall growth objectives of the company. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across departments, conduct market research, and engage with customers to drive business success.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail.

  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and brand management.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Proficiency in marketing software and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools).

    • Ability to analyze data, derive insights and make data-driven decisions.

    • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Strategy Development

    • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

    • Identify market trends and customer needs to develop targeted marketing campaigns.

  2. Campaign Management

    • Plan, implement, and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, print, events).

    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.

  3. Market Research and Analysis

    • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for business growth and competitive positioning.

    • Analyze customer feedback to enhance product offerings and marketing efforts.

  4. Content Creation

    • Develop and oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content.

    • Write and edit compelling copy for various platforms, ensuring brand consistency.

  5. Social Media Management

    • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across multiple platforms.

    • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and create community engagement initiatives.

  6. Collaboration and Communication

    • Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

    • Coordinate with external vendors, such as designers and advertising agencies, to execute marketing initiatives.

  7. Budget Management

    • Assist in the development and management of the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  8. Performance Metrics and Reporting

    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives.

    • Prepare regular reports for management on campaign performance, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
