Description

Seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

Requirements

  • 5 O' Levels / CXC / CSEC passes, inclusive of English and Mathematics.

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar position.

  • A comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain fundamentals and Warehouse operations.

  • Knowledge of computerized Warehouse Management System would be an asset

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Ensure Products, Quantities, and Expiry Dates are verified immediately upon offloading from the containers.

  • Relevant documents submitted to the Accounts department immediately following the offload.

  • Generate a daily Stock Report.

  • Ensure that Salesmen’s requisitions are filled accurately and on time.

  • Ensure Sales Bins are checked and verified by Accounts Department representatives prior to hand over to salesmen.

  • Supervise monthly offloading/physical spot checks of Sales vehicles and Sales Bins.

  • Perform periodic product physical.

  • Code all new products coming into the Warehouse.

  • Prepare monthly physical stock reports for submission to the Accountant.

  • Ensure proper stock rotation, i.e. first in, first out.

  • Ensure Sanitation Programme is adhered to as per schedule.

  • Be responsible for verifying any rejects/product returns and disposing of same in accordance with Company Policy.

  • Check forklift and ensures it is in proper working condition.

  • Ensure that all warehouse safety policies and procedures are adhered to, and proper precautions are taken.

  • Maintain and file proper documentation for activities pertaining to the movement of Goods in the Warehouse.
